This pressure to be positive all the time can be particularly damaging during difficult times or when facing challenges. toxic positivity may dismiss genuine pain and suffering by saying things like "just think positive" or "everything happens for a reason." While these statements may be well-intentioned, they fail to acknowledge the complexity of human emotions and the need for individuals to process their feelings in a healthy and authentic way. This can leave people feeling invalidated, misunderstood, and even more isolated in their struggles.
